MG Security Group was founded by Eric Roeske, director of security, law enforcement services and executive protection at a midwestern state government complex. His duties include overseeing a staff of more than 80 personnel responsible for the security of thousands of state employees, elected officials and over 300,000 annual visitors. Shortly after taking command of this section, Eric recognized the shortcoming of many law enforcement professionals who assume leadership roles within units that primarily provide security and risk management functions. Security and law enforcement, while related fields, are different disciplines which demand different skills. To meet these demands, Eric enrolled at the University of Minnesota's Technological Leadership Institute and earned his master's degree in security technologies.
This unique education, combined with Eric's experience as a law enforcement leader, security professional, emergency manager, trainer, agency spokesperson and SWAT team member sets him apart from other security and law enforcement leaders. He uses his experience to help organizations become more resilient through training, emergency action plan development and security consultation.

What's in a name?
MG Security Group takes it's name from the state colors of Minnesota, maroon and gold. These colors and the institutions that also adopt them is where our founder, Eric Roeske, earned his experience and education he uses to help you find solutions to your security and risk management challenges.
